Great way to learn

Very nice app. Great way to truly learn

A MUST-HAVE IN YOUR STUDY/LEARNING TOOLBOX

Im using it 1. for learning a broader set of vocabulary in English, 2. as a language teacher (Spanish), and 3. as well as in conjunction with the Learning to Learn MOOC course fm the U. of San Diego (Drs. Sejnowski and Oakleys Course). Coupled with the Pomodoro Timer method, I am finally understanding what procrastination is about, and getting things done, remembering and integrating far better the tech info I need to know, and getting rid of the stress associated with my previous "I dont have enough time to do all this" haphazard approach to learning. A stellar companion to building life-long good habits.

Best app ever.

Im sorry I havent found it sooner.

Best flash card app. Period.

Both the web app and the iOS app are perfect. Free. And lots and lots of functionalities.

Incredible Tool

Perfect functionality. Lets me worry about what I need to study instead of when I need to study. Thank you!

Great app

I wish I had had this app in all of my classes from the very start of college! It is so much more effective than flash cards in that it is very adaptive to my specific learning needs. It has been so helpful in test prep as well.

Minor gripes, overall a wonderful app!

This app has been extremely helpful in preparing me for exams. I prefer this model of study to LearnSmart, which serves a similar function with less efficacy. My only complaint is that I cannot go back and view the question once I have clicked "I know it." Sometimes I doubt myself, or I get distracted and forget what the question was, and am forced to guess. Also, there are times I am given extremely similar definitions, with the differences hidden behind ellipses because the definition is so long. There should be an option to expand the answers, one by one if necessary, so that we can see the entire definition and not have to guess.

Great App

Been using it to prepare for the CLEP. I finally got my book and realized that thanks to this app I know more about the subject on hand than I thought. Highly recommend using it. Especially while watching TV. No need to block time for studying like you do on a book.

Nursing student

Its repetitive but I love it. Gains my attention and keeps my memory in check.

Good idea- but needs some improvements

I use this app for intro to macro Positives- I really like the chart that shows how your memories fade over time, and the reminder of which ones to review. If you review your fading memories twice a day- you will be pretty set. Negatives- -You cant view the question again once you click that youre ready to answer. This is annoying when its a wordy question and youre not 100% positive what the answer is -some of the answers to the questions are cut off. I use an iPhone 5. Perhaps the app is built for bigger phones, because sometimes the answers to the questions end midsentence with a "..." And there is no way to see what the rest of the answer says. -the variety of content is minimal. The questions get repetitive, and I sometimes find myself knowing the answer before I read the questions because I recognize and few key words or the picture in the question. -there are also bad answers to some of the typed out questions. Grammatically- another word with the same meaning will fit the answer better, so you will type that word in and get the question wrong because a synonym word is the correct answer. For example- an answer is government planning, when a better way to say it would be government spending. I get the question associated with this answer wrong every time because I write the wrong word

Great SRS!

Cerego is an up-and-coming tool for memorizing a wide variety of subjects. Although Cerego doesnt have quite as much material as some of its competitors (such as Anki and Memrise), Ive been very pleased with the selection and quality of courses offered. I love that they allow you to visualize how well you know what youve studied on their retention-curve-thingy, and its great for making custom lists if you need to study for a test. I Highly recommended Cerego!

Great app with enormously unlimited potential

Cerego is a great app for anyone that needs to establish their bearings within their studies. I recommend it to any student looking for a large database of information and an app that has a spectacular presentation. Future updates of this app could make it in the top 10; without a doubt.

Terrific!

I highly recommend this app.

Spaced repetition

This is a solid spaced repetition app, kind of like flash cards on a timer set up for long-term memory cementing. There are many useful varieties of associations such as definitions, pictures, maps, and pronunciations.

What I Was Looking For

More than a Flashcard app, a complete tool for learning. The best feature for this app, as an adult learner, is that, once learned, all memories are automatically refreshed together, as they are in our minds. Your initial learning is like a conventional flash card. The spaced repetition is a separate act, easier, and more of a shuttle into your long-term memory as long as the memories can be refreshed correctly. The latter point, the refreshing is where this app excels. Its a subtle difference, but very impactful. Worth trying and buying, for any learner pursuing multiple subjects.

Life changing!

Studying has never been easier!!! They take all of the key concepts and help you really learn the material. Its always a good idea to go back through the book but now I dont have to take notes or make notecards. Its amazing and I am constantly studying on my phone!

Best Learning App

My EdX course had a learning set in Cerego and it helped a lot. I have since added 51 learning sets to my library. It is the most efficient technique for learning and When you save you sets to your iDevice you can learn while offline.

iPad app?

The app consistently freezes, even with a fast internet connection, and there is no iPad app.

Amazing learning tool!

Im doing a Jazz Appreciation Course and Im practicing my knowledge on Cerego. It has helped me tremendously in learning and retaining information learned in the course. Its incredible how much I remember thanks to Cerego. I think it would be awesome for students in school to have access to Cerego! Im using the application on my phone, I live in Lebabon where the Internet is not always the best but the application works great

Addictive

Be careful, I cant seem to put my iPad down since I downloaded this app. My thinks I need to go to rehab.
