Cerego App revisa

I just got into music production and learning the basics for keyboard techniques and sounds and this app was a lifesaver.

As a college student, I use Canvas for all assignments. I tried logging into my Canvas account (like the website said) and it still won’t let me in. How do I know if my school uses this program? We use Canvas and it says it supported. Maybe I’m just doing something wrong, but until it’s cleared up I don’t think I will be using this program.

Cerego is top choice for me to study! Now, it’s working well and makes studying fun!

It won’t let me work on any new chapters! I get a message saying I have started and reviewed everything, which is not true! This is unfortunate, because the app made it much easier to get studying done while taking care of my baby.

The app was working perfectly fine until just recently now when I click the assignment the entire app closes and goes to my Home Screen

I used it 2 years ago to help me learn anatomy and now I am learning Medical Terminology. I highly recommend this for professional students.

This is a “refresher” class. It’s online. If I don’t want to break I shouldn’t be forced to. I’ve worked in the med field before. I don’t need or want these breaks and it’s consuming my time. I want it removed or optional. Why is it mandatory??

I absolutely love using the app because it helps me study on the go. Just make sure to meet your deadlines on time!! You need to finish before the deadline because of how many reviews there are. It requires you to take a break which is needed. I would give it a 5 if everything was perfect. My only issue is the text-to-speech feature. Occasionally i have to look away or need help pronouncing a word. Only issue is it either pronounces really funny or really fast and it just sounds all jumbled up. Kind of like a robot for reference. Overall its an amazing app. Tbh i would give it a 4.5 if i could.

Overly complicated and doesn’t sync with the website. Your students will hate it and it will make them hate you.

Some people have kids and full time jobs. Not being able to complete the assignment in a couple days is terrible. I’ve been doing them every day at the suggested time and the module will go up by less than 5% sometimes. The time required to get 100% on a module is ridiculous.

Some of the answers are wrong. Reach out to somebody 3 times.. nothing has been changed

It’s great except for one thing. I use the text to speech quite a lot but sometimes it won’t work. For example, it will not allow the word to be spoken or it will say a bunch of gibberish. This is very frustrating.

It does not account for different learners. I spent 6+ hours speaking to Cengage support until I finally received a copy of the manuals and watched every tutorial for how it was set up to actually understand how it’s formulated. Number 1. The program itself while it seemed cool at first is a disaster. Tuesday I did 30 problems, all correct. It said to take a break but before I downloaded the app, I have no idea how long, based on what my professor told me it was 24 hours. I did not get another chance to log in until Friday. 30 questions all correct. This brought me to 81% Number 2. No one seems to understand the actual reset time. 2PM Friday… It said I had to wait 2 days to try concepts again. I was told at maximum it would be 24 hours leading me to see no reason why I couldn’t complete this Saturday. Hours of support later… I let it go because Sunday is the due day, I would have still had time to do it before it was due at 11:55 PM. Number 3. 2 days apparently doesn’t actually mean 2 days. I downloaded the app specifically to watch the countdown and be alerted so I could be sure to complete my work on time, and now I’m seeing that I will not be able to work on concepts again until 1:30AM Monday. Thanks for making my professor hate me because I constantly have to explain these inconsistencies. Number 4. I was told I’d be able to complete this in 15-20 minutes over 2-3 days. Fine. But I already have a problem with anyone assuming I’m cramming because I work on one class at a time until completion… assigning one class each day throughout the week. I will mix up the information and will not absorb things the same way if I attempt to switch my concentration multiple times. That is exactly why I chose online classes and handpicked ones in a way I could organize Number 5. This program also doesn’t account for people who are disabled. I *have* to work the way I work because my mind and body will crash at a certain point. I need to have days designated to be sick. I’m already sick and on harsh medications, and I can only fight through it for so long. Number 6. The lack of specific consistency means I can’t accurately plan anything in my life. The algorithm is based on performance, so if one section I do great, it could force 2 days breaks or if another section I struggled with.. who knows? It’s unpredictable. It’s supposed to help, but it isn’t helpful, it’s literally making my favorite class that I feel confident in, absolutely miserable. Number 7. The studies done to validating this algorithm are questionable.

Takes WAY too long to finish assignments I’ve spent everyday this week and still only at 81% completion. Also the mandatory breaks are way too long also you can only do the review once a day and have to wait so long to review again. I get you need repetitiveness and study breaks but this is too overboard

I love this app, it is so helpful but every time I scroll too far down or open an assignment it crashes. Please please please fix this issue! UPDATE: thank you for the quick fix! It’s back to being my favorite app again!!

I was using this app to work on the Mastery portion of homework. I liked doing it on my phone because it made it quick and easy. I never ran into any problems for the first four weeks of school UNTIL last week when my app decided to randomly crash every time I click on the chapter I am wanting to review. Now every time I go to a chapter, BAM, app crashes. Even deleted the app and reinstalled it hoping that would fix the issue but still nothing. Such a bummer. It was an awesome app while it lasted. Keeping 2 stars just because this was a really great app and I hope developers can fix this issue.

After using this resource before my first exam, I recorded a 102 on my first exam! It works!

I just started using this program for a college class and I love it!! It’s honestly quite fun to learn the material and the way it is set up and works is just so smooth and amazing!!

I’ve been looking for an application that helps me retain my Greek and this one right here is doing the job! It’s freaking amazing, making me use all my senses in learning and reviewing the language! Eight thumbs up!!!!!!!!

Cerego was recently acquired by Google? Amazon? I don’t remember but they’ve ruined it! Reset my progress to zero!! Duplicated courses. It’s a mess!

I used to literally struggle keeping up with Mindtap assignments using my computer. ‘cause I mean, who enjoys staring at a “box” and clicking away😩 but ever since I’ve downloaded this app, it’s been a huge lifesaver. I do Mindtap every where I go. Lol . It makes it that easy and exciting !

On my iPhone it takes longer to find the assignment I want than to complete it. Please change it back! I’ll change my review when this gets fixed, thanks for all your hard work!

I don’t like robot voice I would like to change voice settings

I had been using this app to study for my weekly exams and it was going great. Then with the latest update, the app has been broken. I can’t see anything on the flash cards at all. They are all blank. Which is very ineffective. I tried re-installing. Still no fix. Once this issue is resolved, this app will be with 5 stars Update: The issue has been resolved and I’m back to enjoying the app (:

Ever since the last update the app won’t let me see any of the flash cards. They’re all blanks. Only time you can any of the words are when you listen to the audio of what the cards are supposed to say

This app can be awesome when it works but every time I get on it, no text appears on my screen which means I can’t do any work. When I first downloaded it, it worked like a charm but now I can’t do anything. I’ve tried deleting the app and redownloading loading it but nothing has helped.

The words don’t show when my phone is on dark mode so I have to turn dark mode off to see the words. A little annoying

Flashcards on quizlet are free and just as helpful if not more. I don’t know if it is the app itself or the authors of the book where the quizzing is redundant.As far as memorization test thing is cool but if you’re in nursing school and trying to understand the process of understanding disease processes this app is not it.

This is great for the classroom and strengthening kids and young adult minds

When it works it’s awesome, but I’ve been having a issue where you answer one question, and it freezes on you. I have to force shut it down and then it does it all over again.

You can’t cram with this app (which is a good thing). It teaches you that study frequently day by day can help you memorize. Not waiting for the last minute to study dozens of definitions. After a certain period of time, the app won’t allow you to study the terms until five hours have passed. The issues I have are how the app covers only few amount of terms from the chapters. Plus, the audio when you’re looking at flash cards: the pronunciation of the terms are in French but the definitions are in English which doesn’t make sense to me.

Why can’t I open new chapters from the mobile app?

I am so glad my instructor at CWI decided to use this as a study tool! I find it helpful and the app is very convenient as I can study anywhere on my phone! Great learning tool for sure. I wish more instructors would use this!

This app deserves five stars, but the developers simply will not address a major flaw that has existed for over a year: if you take a screenshot of text, even though that shot is crystal clear, when you add it to a Flashcard, the text is muddied as to be useless. Please fix this flaw.

I am having to retake advanced pharmacology again. I stumbled across this and have to say it has been a tremendous help so far.

I love this apps. It is easy and helpful for me to study and quick learning.

I found Cerego while searching for tools to help learning retention in my own personal reading and studying. I liked it so much I instituted it into my class the next semester. This class of students became my most effective learners in the six years I had been teaching to that point. Just for fun, I also plotted the results of each student’s Cerego use (which you can monitor) against their in-class assessment performance. It was the clearest correlation one could ask for. And, what’s more, all the students actually enjoyed using Cerego. They felt that it helped them learn and retain better than their old methods. Cerego is an outstanding tool and one which I hope continues to develop.

As a learner this app has been an absolute God send. It's rather easy to use. And it works! My biggest struggle has been how to retain the massive amounts of information I consume from books, podcasts and videos. This app helped me realize that the way to do it isn't through re-reading/listening. You have to test yourself on the content just at the time you think you've forgotten it. That struggle to retrieve is what will deepen your learning. ... I've been using the trial version for a couple weeks now and still no sign of an "upgrade" button. I'm wondering if they're doing that to get us good and hooked with tons of our own content loaded so that when they hit us with the true cost we'd just fork it over. 🧐
